Received a rather "threatening" notification from MS regarding the forthcoming Halo3 release. Prepare your razors, because this is going to hurt your emo-tions:

Strict Release Date
The worldwide release date of Halo 3 is the 25th
of September 2007. If any Retailer or Video Store
is found to have sold or rented a copy of any of
the three skus (Legendary Edition, Collectors
Edition or Standard Edition) prior to the release
date they will be penalised via Microsoft.

The worldwide release date of the Halo 3
Console and Halo 3 Accessories is the 20th of
September 2007. If any Retailer or Video Store is
found to have sold these products (Headset,
Controller or Live Points Card) prior to the release
date they will be penalised via Microsoft.

Please Note:
If Halo 3 is played prior to the 25th of September
2007 with your Gamertag connected to Xbox
Live, this will result in your account being banned.
There is no way to reverse this ban.

Please make sure that no copies are sold or
rented before the 25th of September 2007.

Thank you for your cooperation.

So..to be safe, if you buy it, don't play it before say 27 Sep just to be safe >.>

If anyone is keen to buy this XB360 only title, normal one is $84.99, Collectors edition is $99.95. Much cheaper than retail! Keep in mind, any purchases made are not pumped into One Village, as the gaming side isn't integrated into the business yet. The prices are cost + a few bucks to run the site and services ;)

Can also get the Spartan controller, headsets and Xbox Live subscriptions. All purchase will get a free poster while stocks last :P

Site/Email outage

One Village websites will be offline and possibly email loss of email connectivity between 0130-0600 (GMT+10) on Friday 14 September 2007.

The datacentre is undergoing a major UPS upgrade and as a result we will not have power to the servers.

Vent issues

Seems our host is having some problems and pretty much all Australia vent servers are effected by it. Not much we can do about it unfortunately. I haven't received an update about it but if I get anything will post it.

Ventriloe server will be down on Tuesday, 17 July 07 between 6am and 9am at most. Will probably be less, but that's the timings we've been advised of.
